This may not be out of the ordinary here but at least one 156 was put to use on the Liverpool services today, as here illustrates with 156497, it seen in numerous shots along with one of her classmates 158783 and then later on 158866 as it spends a day on the Liverpool Lime Street services. Theis had been involved in late running on a Norwich service I believe and it nearly bowled me on an HST as it was arrivng in whilst a 222 departed but it failed me to bowl me miserably by inches!
