Nottingham Station (12.12.2019)

More shots, all as seen from Nottingham Station in this one and from 12.12.2019 but what have we got to lo and behold this time? In this one, services are seen by East Midlands Railway, Cross Country, Northern, Nottingham Express Transit, freight from DB Cargo UK (also including the RHTT) and a few surprises and odd workings from some services!

Highlights include:
195012 on Nottingham/Leeds/Lincoln Central services (one service from Leeds-Nottingham cancelled in between Leeds and Sheffield due to an issue with the train crew)
150101 on Nottingham/Leeds/Lincoln Central services (the next Leeds-Lincoln Central service cancelled in between Sheffield and Lincoln Central along with the vice versa working but without running at all due to a problem with the train and a possible points failure at Lincoln Central)
158 on Mansfield Woodhouse/Worksop duties instead of the usual 156 for a weekday
Various 156's on Liverpool Lime Street services, one Norwich bound
Plain blue 156's and plain white 158's
222104 in the EMR Intercity purple livery
222011 with poppy vinyls on it
EMR Intercity MTU HST in an eight car set
LNER buffet car 40751 in an EMR Intercity set
Refurbished Bombardier Incentro Trams with NET
NET Bombardier Incentro Tram 209 'Sidney Standard' with allover flourescent yellow advert for big events in Nottingham
NET Bombardier Incentro Tram 210 'Sir Jesse Boot' with allover multicoloured Just Eat advert
DB Cargo UK class 66's on RHTT duties
DB Cargo UK class 60's on heavily delayed tanker trains

In the end, other cancellations included a service from Leeds in between Sheffield and Nottingham along with the vice versa service and that either due to a broken down train earlier in the day or the planned train being replaced with a slower train. Also, the 13:45 London St Pancras service was cancelled due to a problem with the traction equipment, while a service from Liverpool Lime Street to Norwich terminated at Nottingham due to the late arrival there, hence a 158 starting a service from there to Norwich instead. For the trams, a failed tram meant no service between Cator Lane and Beeston Centre for a time and there was also a power outage for a short while halting all trams, so it perhaps wasn't all plain sailing on both the high and low levels of Nottingham Station but sometimes delays and cancellations are to be expected from time to time as I am sure here will illustrate.
